This piece tells part of my journey across Country, guided by the footsteps of those who came before me. There is a meeting place depicting a fire, this is a symbol of strength, story telling and gathering. Around it are symbols of 9 people, each representing someone in my family. The mountains and hills are places that hold memories, the colours used throughout reflect bush tucker on Country. Waterways flow through this artwork showing movement and life, all the different elements are about togetherness, connection, listening and learning.
