Flowing With Culture (left artwork)

This artwork is inspired by time spent along the Yass River- a place of deep connection, quiet reflection and shared stories. The flowing colours represent the movement of water and the way culture travels with it.  

Just like the water, culture flows through generations, grounding us in who we are and where we come from. 

This piece honours the strength of those moments and the way Country teaches us, when we take the time to be still.

Along The River (right artwork) 

The mountains, waterways, trees and animals all tell us something about the places around us.  In this artwork, the platypus moves through the river, while goanna tracks are found by the bank- little reminders of the life that continues to move through Country. Beyond the colours and patterns, this artwork is about taking the time to notice Country and the stories it holds.
