I did this artwork in collaboration with Sam and Rachael Adjei. This piece celebrates coming together through our cultures, Aboriginal and African- grounded in family, community and care for Country. The meeting place with the fire in the middle represents coming together and strength. Footprints and the bridge through the centre shares our positive journey. Connected through art, food, music, laughter, yarns and shared values. With vibrant Country colours, kangaroo tracks and cultural symbols throughout, this artwork shares friendships, new experiences and looking out for one another- as one Mob.
